Hands-on Film School
The New York Film Academy offers hands-on 4 week, 8 week and one year filmmaking programs as well as digital filmmaking workshops - where each student writes, shoots, directs and edits their own films. We also offer workshops in digital editing, acting for film, screenwriting and 3-D animation. Our school has an international presence with locations in New York City, Universal Studios in Los Angeles, Disney-MGM Studios in Florida, Princeton and Harvard Universities, Paris, London and Florence, Italy. Our instructors all have received MFA's from graduate film programs at NYU, USC, Columbia and UCLA.
